Working for the Supply Chain Manager you will be supporting the business in its purchasing function. We are looking for someone with experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain and inventory control ideally from an Aerospace or manufacturing environment. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within a fast paced and growing company.


Your duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include:

  • Raising and expediting of orders using the purchasing system
  • Liaising with suppliers for best price and delivery where applicable
  • Goods receipt of purchase orders
  • Stocking of components
  • Delivery of orders to customers
  • Resolution of issues that may arise from the purchasing process
  • Managing the filing of delivery notes and paperwork in line with company policy
  • Working with Finance, assisting in the clearance of invoices for purchased goods
  • Supporting the company in conjunction with its standards, policies and processes
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

Basic Qualifications / Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience within a procurement or stores environment ideally within the Aerospace industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office particularly SharePoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • You will be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills working to deadlines and able to prioritise workload to ensure objectives are met and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Business, Engineering or a related industry
  • Understanding of technical drawings and/or manufacturing processes
  • Working towards CIPS
  • Experience of using ERP software
  • A personal interest in aviation and aircraft
