Vertical Aerospace is building technology to revolutionise how people fly. Our mission is to make air travel personal, on-demand and carbon-free.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help continue to drive the Marketing and PR activity of our exciting and dynamic aerospace company forward, with a focus towards social media.

Working within the Commercial Team you’ll help to create awareness and develop the Vertical Aerospace brand. You should be passionate about technology and have an excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Your duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include:

  • Assisting in project management, initial content creation and proofing for communications e.g. website, emails and press releases
  • Creating and maintaining online and offline brand content on different platforms
  • Assisting with the management of all social media sites, including:
    • - Working across the teams to develop engaging content/social media ideas which fit with company timelines
    • - Planning and scheduling content
  • Curation of the company events calendar, including events briefings and organising the design of presentations
  • Collating industry content for, updating and promoting Vertical Aerospace’s newswire
  • Analysing data to evaluate campaign performance
  • Supporting all other Marketing and PR activity
  • General day to day administrative tasks for the Commercial Team

Basic Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, CIM qualification or other relevant experience
  • 1-3 years Marketing experience
  • Experience creating and planning content
  • Extensive knowledge of social media channels
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills
  • Analytical skills to evaluate performance of campaigns
  • Strong at building relationships
  • Thoroughly organised and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience in a technical background would be beneficial
  • Used to sourcing images and using image editing software e.g. Photoshop
  • Experience using communications software eg Mailchimp
  • Experience building social media followings or curating content
  • Experience managing photo/video shoots
  • Innovative and creative individual
